Dear DH
Thank you sooo much for taking off an entire day yesterday (instead of the half day that was needed) to care for DD while my mom went for her MRI.
It was so gratifying to come home and find you asleep on the couch only to have you wake and tell me how DD fell, not once, but twice because you were sleeping and not paying attention to her.
I especially appreciated the dinner that was waiting for me when I arrived.  I don't know what I would have eaten if not for the pesto I had already made, which required only for some water to be boiled and spaghetti added. It's a good thing I know how to boil water and was able to do that while feeding the baby her dinner.
OH, and as for feeding the baby, thanks so much for skipping her breakfast. After all, it's not like you're her father or anything and know her routine that you berated me about for weeks to establish. Speaking of routines, thanks so much for upsetting the sleep routine by bringing her into bed with us AGAIN. Last night was such a joy. 
And as for this morning, I just love to watch you sleep while I run around getting all of DD's stuff together, and then to have you FINALLY wake up and just let her cry instead of getting your arse out of bed to change her diaper (so she stops crying), just really puts a smile on my face.
Tonight, when you ask me what's wrong, I just might tell you, so be prepared to get hit with both barrels.

She is going to be 8 months old in 9 days, we're not at the beginning anymore!!
I swear, if I didn't know guys like imthekevinofcindyandkevin, I would honestly believe that all men share ONE brain cell and they pass it around on an hourly basis.

Normally Id tell you that my DH is an exception to the rule...However this week was obviously not his week to be the keeper of the brain cell..

it's NEVER my DH's week to be keeper 
I totally know where you are coming from...it can feel like your a single mother at times.
There are times where i want to rip my hair out because I think he should just know what i want him to do.
To make my life a little easier I actually created a list of things that DH can do/help with around the house and with DD. I think since i've written things down for him he's not always guessing at what i want him to do.

I'm working all weekend (overnights) and DH has off. We have a BBQ with his family tomorrow. Do you think he'll pack the bags for Michael's diapers and food? Highly doubt it. I will be sure to let you know.

DH is always such a big help with packing diaper bags for days out I mean, I don't think I could get it accomplished if AFTER I have run around getting it all together (while he's telling me to relax) he says "Ok, what else do we need in the bag?"

I'm so sorry.
Unfortunatley, I know where you are coming from. DS is 2 1/2 and we have our good days with DH and we have our bad days.
I joke with him that one of these days I'm going to come home to find him tied up with a fire under him like in the cartoons!!! He's always  when he watches DS.
The other day I pretended to be Daddy and sat in the chair and snored when he asked me what was for dinner. DH didn't think it was funny but DS thought the snoring noises were!
