Dear idiot driver in the black mercedes...
Please do not tailgate me on my block that is clearly labeled 30mph, then precede to go around me. I also find it hard to believe that the reason you were going into oncomming traffic to get around me going 80mph is because your mother fell down the stairs...which you felt you time to stop and shout at me how important it is that you go home and that I need to get the f out your way cause your mom fell down the stairs. I know if my mom fell down the stairs I would not take the time to argue w/ the car who honked their horn at me because my precious arrogant ego was hurt...I would have continued driving. Next time call an ambulance instead of almost causing an accident on a very busy residental street that little kids will run out onto. If she did fall the stairs, my best to your mom, but go straight home next time. Actually, just stay off my block please. Thanks!
Sincerely, The driver you shouted at for 10 minutes while your mom was laying at the bottom of the stairs
Sorry if I am an insentistive beyotch, but if he caused an accident, he definitely would not be able to help his mom. Besides, who sits there for 10 min and shouts at a driver in a family emergancy? I'm sorry, just sick of people doing 80 down my block and almost rear ending me as I try to pull into my driveway.

i know how you feel. we have signs that say "children at play" you'd think these cars would slow down? noooooooooooooooooooo they just do 80 mph down my street. i'm afraid one day some kid is going to get killed.

That's my fear too! I'm also afraid they are just going to kill another driver. One time I was trying to make a left into my driveway and there were cars going in the opposite direction. I waited with my turn signal on. However, this idiot in an SUV drove up and over the curb, nearly flipping over, to try to get around me because he could not wait 30 seconds for me to turn.

I hate people that drive like that!! If you are in such a rush, leave 5 minutes earlier.

Re: Dear idiot driver in the black mercedes...
I see your point- but if have ever gotten a phone call like that- some thing else takes over you
you would not have wanted to see my driving the night Jake called me from the hospital- I was def going over 100mph- it was 12am in the morning- so no one else was on the road- not one of my finer moments- but you can't say what you would do unless you were in that situation
I know my Dad did some crazy stuff on the road to get my Mom back to the hospital one day when she got sick after leaving Solan Kettering

I definitely see your point, but would you have stopped for anything, especially because someone honked at you? I definitely have done my share of crazy driving in family emergancies, but I can't think of any reason to stop my car at the time just to yell at them for honking their horn at my crazy driving. I would figure they do not know the reason I'm in such a rush, and they probably would not care about the reason anyway. I would just keep driving to get to my loved one as fast as I could. Maybe he was nervous. It's just everyone drives like a lunatic on my block, so it's hard to differentiate at times.
My thing is that it's at the point where you can not honk at anyone anymore...I mean a beep, not laying into the horn. What can people do? Just let others plow into them, hope they survive the impact so they can sue them later? It seems so silly to sit there and yell at someone because you obviously made them nervous enough to think they were in danger...especially during a family emergancy.

Re: Dear idiot driver in the black mercedes...
if I stopped- I would have just asked you to get out of my way
he probably got the call at work, has little info, is nervous, scared and stressed- maybe it took him 45 minutes to get that far and the last 5 minutes it taking him forever adding to the stress
it's not right what he did- but I have been in his shoes- and it's not a place I would want to be
so cut him a little slack and forget about it- he is probabaly in a hospital waiting room right now freaking out- again- be there, done that- and it's not a fun place to be
