Deceased Parent/Spouse/Close Relative?

I was wondering if anyone has had a close relative or friend die and if they ever "contacted" you. I still get very depressed over my dad passing (even though I know it has only been a month) and I heard John Edward say last night that sometimes the person will do things to know they are around, smells, feelings. I did smell flowers once when there were none around but I just feel like I want to KNOW that my dad is ok and still around. I have some issues with him being closer to my sister before his death (mostly because she doesn't work though and he know she was home and called her all the time). I feel like he was mad at me because I didn't call and talk to him all the time. I talk to my mom once a week but we never really spoke all the time. That was just our relationship.

My grandmother and I shared the same birthday, and she always said that I was the best birthday present she ever had. She died 7 years ago, and on my 1st birthday after her death, I was very down since Grandma and I had always celebrated together. To make it more cheerful, my mom got 3 helium balloons and tied them to the back of my chair. As soon as my fam finished singing Happy Birthday, the balloons all popped for no reason. It remains one of the strangest things that has ever happened, and I would like to think that it was my grandmother sharing our special day with me.

I've gotten some very weird signs from my dad including this whoosh (i dont know how else to describe it) through my body where it feels like he's just there. it's so hard to explain but very freaky.

I cant say I have every been "contacted" but before my mom died we had a few conversations about some stuff that she was worried about and things going on!

2 days after she passed a neighbor (a good friend of my moms) stopped me to tell me about her dream. In the dream my mom told her to tell me a few things! Well the things that she wanted Joan to tell me hit so close tto home, they were some of the things we spoke of before she died!

So I TOTALLY believe that those who have passed can contact you!
I also have a friend who went to John Edwards and the things he said were all about her daughter who died of lukemia!(sorry cant spell)

I've seen John Edward - plus an old friend of mine is pretty good friends with him.

I've had close relatives that passed - and had some things happen afterwards that made me think they were in a good place & at peace - and more importantly that everything was going to be ok for the people they've left behind.

My old boss used to say she felt her daughter's presence and when she saw things that remind her of her daughter used to take it as a sign of her daughter being around her still.

Truth or not, it certainly helps people deal with the anguish of not having that person around. I would also take it as a sign that you should be talking to both your mom & your sister about things. You never know what you might learn from them.

yes, I have been. I am often "contacted" by loved ones, and also by people I don't know.

I know this will sound weird but I believe that my grandmother has contacted my mother and i several times.....she moves a lladro that used to be hers. She only did it when my uncle was having trouble and it was like a sign for my mom to take care of him because as soon as she helped my uncle it stopped moving. We never saw it move but it would be positioned on the edge of the shelf facing out. It normally was in the back and facing the side......it was strange. Also the lladro was a boy...the only boy lladro that she has.

Okay this should blow your mind...
about a month ago...My husband had a dream about 5 fish...(we dont fish). Usually means pregnancy.
the next nite my dad who passed away 4 months ago came into my dreams and held my face said "You are beautiful", handed me gifts for a baby and then was riding on a little choo choo train with a little boy. Okay so days later, I felt sever cramping and was like what the heck...(never thinking I was pregnant). I went on to test bc of the dreams and sure enough I got a BFP. Strange, huh! I also thought I would never hear from my father but I did. Its hard at times. Hang in there!
