DECEMBER MOMMIES: Update here!

How is everyone doing/feeling????

I am 34 weeks, due 12/21 with a

sono at 32 wks, showed baby was 5lbs, 5 oz, and on track to be over 9 lbs....going tonight for a prenatal, so I no more sonos....and I do not have GD...

We have narrowed down to 2-3 names...which is an improvement!

Nursery is done, just need to straighten up a bit..then I'll post pics...

Childbirth class is done, shower was in Oct, did last minute shopping for things that I needed, this past weekend....

So many ladies that I know (not on here) have delivered early! One was due on 12/13, and had baby on halloween, and 3 others were 3-5 wks early...that scares me!!!!

i am due dec. 29th but def do not think i am making it that far. I am 33 weeks and have been on bed rest since 29 weeks with VERY short cervix. Goal is to get me to 34 weeks and then it is one day at a time. My guess is as soon as they take me off bed rest I will have this baby!!!! We are close on names- but nursrey not close as bedrest was unexpected. Last sono- last week had baby at 3lbs. 10oz and i go again next week. Never go to go to any classes either since I thought I had so much time!!

I'll be 35 weeks Thurs, due 12/17 with a (but, I think it's a )

We aren't taking a class, we did the Laugh and Learn video and we're doing a hospital tour on Saturday.

Our nursery isn't done (Dh wants to paint, we're getting new lighting installed tomorrow - as per DH, and the furniture isn't in but, should be any day now).

We don't have names picked out except for but, we're not sure as to what the nickname is going to be yet.

DH is taking a huge test on 11/21 so everything is being done after that and it's making me nuts.

I don't get a growth sono but, the Dr. estimates that the baby is normal size and is in position.

I'm starting to get uncomfortable - I went for a walk with a friend yesterday and was so sore afterwards.

I'm going to the Dr. today to get my Swine flu shot and my next "real" appt is next Tues.

Hi all! I am 32 weeks, due on 12/30.

I had my shower on Saturday. The nursery is almost done, just needs some finishing touches. I can't believe it's almost here!!

I'm feeling ok, aside from the constant peeing, the difficulty sleeping, and the back pain.

Hello everyone! 36 weeks for me and according to the countdown we are at 29 days!!!

I do feel better as we went to BRU this weekend and got the sheets, mattress pad (this is #2 for us so we didn't have a shower and don't see the need for an entire bedding set)... got some diapers and came home to put the crib together. It is starting to feel more real with everything set up now.

I am feeling good. Much slower. I did a ton of laundry with a lot of up and down stairs over the weekend so I was a bit sore (my tailbone hurts when I overdo it) But other than that I am chugging right along!

Got my H1N1 shot about a week and a half ago. Taking DS to get his tonight.

DH is going out of town for work tonight and won't be home until Thursday so I am keeping my parents on high alert in case decides to come early, but I don't think he/she will.

We have been prepping DS for the new baby. He was putting all his stuffed animals and blankets in the babies crib and this morning we wrapped his Curious George stuffed animal in a blanket and he carried it around the house like a baby!

Now we just wait!

I am almost 33 weeks and so tired I don't sleep well because I constantly have to go to the bathroom.

I already had my shower, I have washed everything I need to wash, I have taken a breast feeding class and am taking Bradley classes currently.

I get A LOT of period like cramps that suck, but I don't get BH. I really hope this little one shows a week or so early and not late.

I had a 3D ultrasound on Saturday, I posted the pics on a different post. The tech said the baby was measuring around 3.5 lbs. I just can't wait to meet her/him!

Hi ladies - 29 days left for me until my c-section!

I had a growth sono this morning, Baby A is 4lbs 14oz (38th percentile) and Baby B is 4lbs 10 oz (30th percentile) and everything is looking good with my little peanuts .

Cervix is still closed up and there is no action yet. They are both still all the way up in my ribcage, so sitting and breathing are both pretty difficult at this point. I got my H1N1 shot today and they also took blood because of my complaints of bad itching - they are testing liver function and all that but hopefully it's nothing bad. The swelling is getting worse too but my BP was only 110/80 and no protein so I guess I'm doing ok.

Nursery is done, work is done, names are FINALLY decided - now I am just getting last minute things finished and ready for their arrival! I am so excited!

My shower was yesterday and it was AMAZING!!! Unfortunately we ran into some unexpected delays with the baby's room so I had to put all my shower gifts at my mom's until the nursery is done (which hopefully will be within the next week or so).

I have to go to a hematologist tomorrow b/c I have a genetic blood clotting disorder. The doctor will explain to me what it is and what medications I need to go on, if any. ( for me that its nothing...im really nervous!)

I am feeling really good...some days Im exhausted while others I have energy. I cant believe my little munchkin will be here in 6 weeks (hopefully a little less)

34 weeks---SOOOO uncomfortable though. I slept only 3 hours on Saturday night.

Nursery is practically done and is freaking gorgeous! My husband and family surprised me with it last monday!!!!

Shower was in October, buying more onesis and feetie PJs that we didn't get.

Getting nervous/excited etc

I cannot wait to meet my little boy!

I am almost 36 weeks...according to the countdown i have 29 days 9 hours to go!!!! I can't believe it!

The nursery is complete....furniture is in. once we have the baby and know the sex....we will be purchasing the curtains, bedding and decorations for the room. The bassinet has been built.

All my laundry is done...and folded and in its place.

I have purchased....baby tylenol, motrin, gripe water, thermometers and hope i have everything i will need.

I have been feeling OK...not too bad...not too great. My back has been killing me non stop! its terrible. Sleeping has been a challenge....and i wake up 5 times a night to go to the bathroom. i always feel full and i have DEFINITELY slowed down ALOT within the last few weeks.

My last day of work is going to be the 25th of November.

I had my first internal last week and have nothing exciting to report other than i lost 1 lbs. bringing my total weight gain to 15 lbs. so far. I go again at 37 weeks.

I have not taken any classes....just a breastfeeding class and i have to rent the Live and Learn video.

My hospital bag is almost complete. All i need is a robe and granny undies.

We've got our name all picked out - but aren't sharing until he's born!

I think our nursery is done... we're not doing a real nursery - it's a nursery & guest room - so we've got the crib all set up and his dresser with changing table topper done too. I still need to just organize all of his little things, like nail clippers and ointments and all of that.

time is FLYING!

but nursery complete,,I go for my first internal next week I am hoping this baby comes early..I am starting to get very anxious about the whole labor part...

Last time i went to the dr she said this looks like it is going to be a big baby


Still cant believe there is going to be a baby in the house in 5 weeks...

I have my growth sonogram tomorrow, cant wait. Havent seen this little one since 20 weeks.

We had our shower 2 weeks ago. We got all the big things but almost no clothes so I have been getting a few things here and there but its hard when you are team to get clothes. Im hoping my MIL and SIL will get clothes once the baby is born.

Took a breastfeeding class last week and have a baby care class this Saturday.

The furniture is in but we wont be having it delivered until December. I am on vacation this week and plan on washing all of the baby's clothes, towels, blankets etc and cleaning and organizing our apartment.

In the process of interviewing pediatricians. We met with our first one today.

I am getting short of breath a lot more lately and sleeping through the night is so hard. I hope decides to come a week or 2 early.

I cant believe we are almost there!

Oh, and I just wanted to add that I am jealous of all you ladies that have had growth sonograms.

My last sonogram of little was the anatomy scan at 20 weeks (16 weeks ago) and unless there is something unexpected that gives my doctors some concern, I will not get to see little baby until he/she arrives!

I am 37 weeks...21 days to go....I am currently sick with a bad cold and cough and it's making these last few days very hard to prepare. I have yet to put my bags together or wash her clothes. I can barely function right now and its horrible.

I am hoping that she comes on time so that I have time to get better.

Well, I hope you'll all still accept me here, but it looks like I'm going to be a November mom...My dr. scheduled a c-sect for me for 11/25 (not 100% sure it will be needed, but, he is definitely leaning that way...)

But I still feel like a December Mom

Had a sono last Friday at 36 weeks - was 6lbs 11oz...nice and healthy!

Nursery is almost done...it's just up to me to put the rest of the things from the shower away, but it's getting there.

I actually feel really good lately. I started working exclusively from home last week and the not commuting factor has been fantastic...it really has been such a relief...

I still need to pack my bags and write shower thank you's...that's on my to do list for tomorrow!

Hello lovely ladies!

I'm 33w3d, due with on 12/25.

Had my growth sono on Friday, 11/6. DD#2 is measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule at 5lbs. 11oz. She is breech (so far) and my cervix is apparently very short. OB put me on modified bedrest and I am supposed to limit picking up my DD#1.

OB thinks I will deliver in 1-2 weeks. Started monitoring for pre-eclampsia since last year I had almost all of the symptoms. Dropped off my 24 hr urine and got blood taken at the sono appt.

Next appt with OB is this Thursday at 12pm. He will check my cervix at that point and we'll take it from there. Have appt for H1N1 shot this Thursday after OB appt.

Having lots and lots of low cramping and the baby feels like she is gonna kick her way out soon. I'm waiting for her to make her appearance every time I poo!

House is a wreck, DD#1 is sick with a very high fever and I can barely walk. Sleeping at this point is an enigma.

33 wks 3 days due 12/25
I went for another sono on Friday and the baby was measuring 5lbs 6oz - 83rd percentile. I do have GD so a big baby is expected. Trying to control my diet but I am also taking insulin at night. It seems to have slowed his growth since he was 95th percentile 3 weeks ago.

we finished the nursery this weekend. i now just have to put away bottles and stuff. we also have to start putting together swing, pack n play, install car seat, etc

was supposed to go for BF class tomrorow but it was cancelled so now i'm going on 11/24.

since I have GD, i am going for sono/check up every two weeks. I go on 11/19 and have my first internal. they will keep close eye on baby's size and then decide to induce/c if necessary.
