December Mommies.....Update!

83 days left..Due 12/21

Shower 10/25 (but that is all I know!)

Nursery...needs chair rail, new carpet install on 10/3.

Furniture is in, just waiting for carpet, then we will pick it up!

Lamaze is set for 11/7...very excited!

Me: Feeling great, but definately feeling more pressure when I stand up after sitting for a while...

...took my glucose test, and waiting for results...fingers crossed :)

...overall weight gain is 15 lbs at 28 weeks, so I can't complain about that!

Getting so CLOSE December moms!!!!!!

I took my glucose test yesterday and im just really hoping they tested me for the right things bc it was a 2hr test and not a 1hr

My hubby and I painted the nursery (kittery point green)it came out great! and we picked up the crib but still have to put it together

Im feeling pretty good still but my back it hurting a lot more and I just don't feel like working anymore. (im a teacher and I just dont seem to have the energy to grade, plan, teach, and deal with behavior problems anymore) I just want to have my baby boy and be home with him

Shower is 10/24 - I've been stalking my registry. Someone went shopping today!

We're waiting for the furniture to come in and getting ready to paint. I don't mind the color of the room but, DH hates it and now he thinks we should have a dark green and I'm not sure about that.

I got a few little outfits from Carters this weekend. I went in to buy gifts and I had some coupons so I felt I needed to. Just a few little sleepers.

At my 28 week appt, I was up 30 lbs (I gained 10 lbs from 24-28 weeks). I've been trying to eat better and I've been walking more the past few days.

My appts are now every 2 weeks, so excited about that!

Shower is 10/17

nursery - furniture was delivered last week, window treatments going up on thursday, have the rug just waiting for windows to be done and room to be dusted to put it down.

glucose test this friday

as far as weight gain, i'm already up almost 30lbs... i am mainly belly however i have a big belly!!! i am also swollen so i am hoping it is also due to water weight.

i'm having groin pain and having more trouble getting around/up/down. trouble sleeping at night. i keep bumping into things with my belly lol.

just made an appt to do our will next week

i can't believe that thursday is already october!!!

I posted just a little while ago..I fell today had the scare of a lifetime...but everything is okay (thank you God)..

other than that I am feeling good...have the occasional backache but i cant complain

My shower is october 18th looking forward to that ...I passed one hour glucose Next appt is october 15th for a growth sono

Hope december comes quick I cant take the anxiety anymore

Hi Ladies!

65 days to go! Time is flying!

I'm feeling ok. Still in lots of pain from my back, but I just don't think there is much I can do about it. Overall, just uncomfy at times. I've gained about 30 lbs already at almost 31 weeks...used to REALLY bother me, but I've kind of accepted the fact, especially since everyone says that they only place I've gained is my stomach. I think I just have a big baby in there!

Our furniture is getting delivered in 2 weeks, and the room is all painted. Can't wait to see how it looks set up!

I have no idea when my shower is!!! I hope it is sometime in October, otherwise I think anxiety might get the best of me!

This past weekend was my 30th bday. DH was SO great. Thurs we went out for dinner in the city, Friday we went to the Bronx Zoo, and Saturday night he planned a dinner for me with 20 something of my friends / family...I was so surprised by how many people were there! It was really such a great weekend...Made me realize even more how great of a dad he is going to be!!! He even made sure that I would be able to eat all of the food (no fresh mozzarella to tempt me!)

Hope you are all feeling good...Can't believe it's almost October!!!

My shower is this Saturday! I'm super excited. I'm flying back to NY on Friday and coming back to CA on Sunday so it's going to be quite the whirlwind weekend - but I can't wait! I'm also super excited to see the cake!

As far as weight gain, I'm up just over 30 lbs... oh well! My belly is getting HUGE!

I had my 1 hour and passed! YAY! My next appointment is at 30 weeks... and then they start to be every 2 weeks which is exciting!

I can't wait to meet our little

68 Days and counting...Everyone including myself is thinking that I'm having a boy....Team is tough, but I know it will be well worth the wait.

Shower is 11/8 at MILs house. The mom's are working on it together and it's really cute to see them sharing in a project together.

DH and I are in Week 3 of our Bradley Course. He is really in to it and is exceeding all of my expectations for involvement and interest.

I failed my 1 hour and took the 3 hour on Wednesday. My midwife isn't in the office until Friday and I'm pizzed that I have to wait that long to hear the results, while potentially walking around with uncontrolled GD.

I am seriously a walking recessive gene....I have every annoyance of pregnancy, but they still don't take away my love of being pregnant. I'm going to miss life with just baby and me. I really can't wait to sleep on my belly though!

Hi everyone!

I have 70 days left unofficially, but I should be getting my C-section date at my appointment in 2 weeks - I can't wait to have a real official date! Only 10 weeks to go

My shower is over, it was great and I already went to do all my BRU returns and got a bunch of nursing bras and pajamas that I needed to get, along with a bunch of other things that I decided I needed .

The nursery is done except I am still waiting for the glider to come in and DH needs to do a couple of things like install the dimmer switch, etc. I also need to finish setting everything up.

I am up 20.5 lbs now at 28 weeks. I am feeling pretty good in general, but sleeping is getting pretty impossible. I can only go about 3 hours without waking up to pee, or roll over, or because I am getting kicked. The worst is when I wake up and I lay there for an hour before I can fall back asleep. I'm also having a lot of shortness of breath, I think because they are breech I have a head shoved up against each lung LOL.

We went on a little babymoon to Boston this past weekend and although I had a GREAT prenatal massage, I think I overdid it with the walking on Saturday and I felt pretty bad yesterday. I am feeling better today but still tired.

Next steps are setting up the hospital tour, watching the baby care DVD and I also want to take an infant CPR class. I can't believe we are all getting so close!!!!

73 days left.. due 12/13 but hopefully going a week earlier for repeat c/s

passed 1 hour glucose which is a minor miracle considering I had GD with my DD.

My father (owns custom furniture business) was supposed to make the nursery furniture, but b/c he's swamped with paying customers, I went to Kidstuff for less in Lindenhurst (if you've never been, go!) and got a cherry changing table and a 5 drawer high dresser for $250.

Now all that is left is I have to move all the office furniture out, put the treadmill in storage, and start getting the nursery together! Yikes!

I think I'm up about 10 pounds... not too shabby.

92 days to go!

My shower will be on November 7th. I'm ALMOST done registering and I'm still fretting over who to invite to the shower. It's going to be really small - maybe 20-25 people - plus there are a few people that I'm just not sure about - some former coworkers who I still keep in touch with 2 years after leaving but we're not super close, and a few college friends who I see a few times a year but woulnd't consider great friends (DH and I went to college together so it's the ladies from our mutual friend pool). Also there are 2 friends who I would have had no hesitation inviting, but they recently had babies and did not invite me to their showers, which is kind of insulting - so I assume I shouldn't invite them to mine? Hmmm maybe this should be a new topic...

Anyhow furniture has been ordered, and hopefully it will be here by the end of October. I just decided what colors to paint the room, though DH hasn't yet given it his blessing - though after all the thought I put into it, I don't think I care.

I'm up about 15 pounds and still feel pretty good. Last night I felt some weird pressure on my lungs and rib cage when I laid on my side - maybe it's time for a snoogle?? Also my back hurts pretty regularly now, though luckily at work I've been ok. I don't sit near anyone so every day I kick off my shoes and put my feet up and lounge at my desk. It's rare that I get visitors but of course last week I was interrupted while lounging and stuffing my face. I don't care though - I feel entitled.

Hello ladies!

OMG... 71 days left for me and the time just won't slow down.

No shower planned for me as this is #2.

Ordered and received the crib that we will be putting in our room until new baby sleeps through the night... then he/she will share a room with DS.

We're not putting the crib together until our carpet is installed. They just came to measure today and I have to say I can't believe how excited I am to have carpet installed upstairs in our bedrooms and hallway!

I am 30 weeks and feeling extremely round. I can't imagine how much bigger I will get in the next 10 weeks because I feel huge, but I feel great otherwise. Feeling the baby like crazy lately.

Passed the 1 hour GD test. (I had failed it with DS and passed the 3 hour... a chocolate chocolate chip muffin is to blame for that )

Don't even get me started on weight gain. I am probably up 25 pounds right now and on track to gain 40 like I did with DS!

Still feel like I have so much to do but I am sure it will all get done! Hope everyone else is doing great!

Shower 10/10

Nursery...Needs major work!! My sister is getting the furniture so that won't be ordered until after the shower is done but we already decided on what pieces we want.

Childbirth and CPR class are booked as well as hospital tour.

Me: Doing good. Had a little scare last week with spotting and contractions but all is good now. Still have carpal tunnel but the wrist guards have helped a ton. Baby is moving around non-stop now!

Glucose test: failed one hour and took 3 hour. All results were normal

Overall weight gain is 20 lbs at 29 weeks. That doesn't include the weight I gained while doing IF. That's another 10.

Re-doing our 3-d ultrasou nd next week bc the baby wouldnt cooperate last week.
I have no clue when my shower is and i dont think its soon since only 4 things have been bought off my registry
My total weight gain so far has been 5 lbs so im really happy about that.
Ive been getting terrible heartburn and feeling extra tired lately and my carpal tunnel is really annoying. These 85 days cant go by fast enough!!

ETA: ph and we started working on the nursery but DH has been working alot of OT so we kinda put a hold on it this week but furniture is in, paint is picked we just need to fix a few things in the room, put the carpet in and paint...very excited!

I'm due 12/21 and feeling pretty good.
I'm huge - up 30 lbs already at 28 weeks.
I'm exhausted!
DH and I are moving into our new condo. We love it, and have 2 days to be out of our old condo.
We ordered our baby furniture labor day weekend, and are in no rush for it to come as we are surrounded by boxes now!
I took my 1 hour glucose test and failed, and have to take the 3 hour on Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hey ladies.

I am 30 weeks and have 65 days left !

Sleeping has become more and more uncomfortable. I have a lot of hip pain from sleeping on my sides. Also, heartburn has kicked in so Tums has become my new best friend . Other than that, I'm fighting a pretty bad cold right now but I'm trying to keep the complaining to a minimum . The last 7 1/2 months have been great so a bad day here and there won't kill me.

My shower is coming up in the next few weeks so I'm excited for that. Hope everyone else is feeling well !

Nursery- Crib and furniture put together. Also put up wall border + decals. We are waiting on the Crib bedding.
1hr Glucose passed!
Shower on November 7th
3D/4D sonogram was on 9/26 at Impact.
Next OB appt on 10/12 and then every other week from then on until the weeklys start.

Took my 1 hour glucose yesterday.

Have my next doctors appt in 1 week, getting my rhogam shot then and then appts every 2 weeks.

Shower is 10/24.

Still feeling good, just tired. We have absolutely nothing for the baby yet. Furniture is coming in December. DH doesnt want us to buy anything for yet. We are just cleaning out our apartament slowly to make room for all things to come.

Feeling ok. My back has been hurting more and more though. Sleep is when it is the worst. Headaches are making an appearance as well, just like last time around.

Got my double stroller delivered yesterday! Got a great deal!

DD#1's 1st Birthday party is this Sunday and I cannot wait for it to be over!! The stress is annoying.

And most important... 8 more weeks of work until Maternity Leave!!
