December Mom's....give me an update!!!!
So excited that it's YOUR month!!!!!
DD # 1 was born in December!
So how is everyone feeling?

Im 3 cm dilated, 90 % effaced, lost my plug, and all of a sudden in the last 2 days I have felt better than I have in weeks--very weird. I havent slept in forever, but the last 2 nights I have slept great(aside from the 8 trips to the bathroom).
I dont know whats going on because I have had such terrible pressure since about 27 weeks or so and especially recently and that is gone today too.
I wonder if you start to feel better right before labor??

not as tired as before...cleaning the whole house every little spot lol...DH told me to chill out a little but I cant...I cant sit still...find out wed. if I am further dialated..i was a about a finger tip last time, cervix was softening and head dropping...so hopefully I will be a bit further along this wed and she can work some majic for me haha

Keep moving. and if you are comfortable enough have some you know what with DH! you are right there.....3 cm 90%. Just think you got a free-be. some girls woudl love to walk around being 3 cm! I bet your next.
I was walking around for almost 3 weeks being 3 cm and then finally it happened!

OOooh....I just got butterflies when I read "I bet you're next"!! After 2 1/2 months of bedrest, Im hoping that I get blessed with an easier delivery!!

I had my baby, December 5th! I'm finally logging on to the board today to post my birth story. It's been awhile...
I needed an episiotomy and I finally got the dreaded hemmorhoids during the delivery (was fortunate enough to avoid them during the pregnancy), so I'm feeling a little rough around the edges. I can't walk or stand for too long or that area gets really sore, but other than that, I'm fine.
Our baby is fine too, very healthy and he seems to be changing by the day. I'll tell more about him soon too.
Good luck to all the other December Moms! And P.S.--if you are on the fence about using an episiotomy (as I was, I wanted to go natural), I HIGHLY recommend it, especially if your labor is long. You can actually sleep a bit with that, which helps when it comes time to push.

No joking........ask for a mean internal. Ask the dr. to rumble around down there and make things happen for you!
That's what I did. I would never asked ot be induced, but I at 3cm and 90% effaced, I wanted my baby asap! so the dr. gave me an internal and I guess she naturally manipulated something down there b/c after I left the office i was in early labor.
You are so good to go! And soooo won't be the last to go regardless of your due date. with your cervix being that soft they won't let you go much longer. i can guarantee it!

Im actually hoping that I can wait past this weekend...I have so much Christmas stuff to catch up on since I was on bedrest up until last week....but I also dont want to go super close to Christmas....guess its not really up to me though

I'm having a c-section tomorrow. My  has been breeched for weeks now and there is no sign of turning in sight. DH and I are very excited but I'm starting to get a little nervous too.
