Decorating master bath - New question added

If it is attached to the master BR should it match or coordinate with the BR as far as paint color, furniture color and overall decor?

So if I have espresso-colored furniture in the bedroom, should I not have a white vanity and wall cabinet in the bathroom? I can't find a vanity in the right color in the right size. The vanity I currently have is in good condition so I was thinking of painting it white and then getting a wall cabinet in white. If I paint both rooms the same color and have a similar "vibe" will that be okay?

I think they should compliment each other... my bedroom is a cream color with a yellow tint, my bathroom is blue, but more importantly, they both have the same vibe and style.

yes they should compliment each other. They don't have to be the same paint color, but they should compliment each other. Same style decor also.

I think as long as it has the same vibe, you don't have to have the same wood tones in both rooms.

definitely same 'vibe', not neccessarily same colors .... like you don't want an ulta mod minimalist bedroom with a wallpapered victorian bath
