Decrease in movement--at 33 weeks???

I noticed the last few days the baby doesn't really move as much....is this normal for around 33 weeks?? I assume it is, since the space in there is probably getting pretty tight, but just wanted to be sure! Thanks girls!

I think I did read that movement decreases in the 9th month because of limited space.

I have really never had a decrease in movement - this kid kicks the heck out of me all day long.

I have read that you will feel less movement since there is less room in there for them though.

This little one is constantly moving..BUT I will notice a decrease in movement on occassion...could be a growth spurt or something..I monitor it and then after a couple of days he starts right back up again.

From about 30-32 weeks on, my son hardly moved AT ALL. I was always nervous..but he is fine. I think it just happens for some. They are settling in for the last round of growth ....

I haven't noticed it yet - I am just about 33 weeks too. This baby is a mover - much more than my son was. I have heard bigger babies have less room to move but my baby is already on the bigger side - 5lbs as of 32 weeks and measuring like a week or so ahead and still moving around a lot...so who knows.

Same happened here, I actually went in to the Dr. at 32 weeks to be monitored b/c it was such a drastic difference. Chat Icon was really active weeks 30 & 31, I mean super active for her, and then bam, nothing for days at 32 weeks. THankfully everything was fine, she just got comfy I guess. My little one isn't super active really, she's more mellow than others!
