Defensive Driving course online?
Has anyone heard of this or done it! I am thinking about doing it this Saturday!

I thought in NY you could not do it on-line? Could be wrong, but I did hear that several times.

I did it online. Best money ever spent.
check out DMV's website. They have a few online courses they recommend.

you can do it is sessions, you can pause it and go back to itl. its gives you questions throughout it to make sure that you're paying attention. HTH

I just did it last week... it's so great and worth the money. Did you call your insurance company and ask them how much it will save you? You and DH should do it separate. DH and I did it and it saved us a lot of money. 
We did it over a few days. It's 6 hours, but goes faster than you think. It'll have you call a # once in a while or ask you questions that you have to do within 90 seconds of it asking you. So simple... then it'll have you read off #'s or ask you personal questions you asked b4 starting the course. Break it up and since DH and I both did it we sat in on each others (whoever was free at the time).

I just completed it from this site...its from the dmv site...My agent said its legit and I will get my certifiicate in the mail in a few days. DH did it before me and he got the certificate after 4 days of completion...we will be saving a nice amount of $

Just for anyone else -- this link is direct to the NYS DMV website -- and its a list of all the online sits that are APPROVED by NYS for Defensive Driver Education.
Make sure the site you use is approved by NYS -- or else you could take the course and get zero credit!!

I just completed my online course a few weeks ago. It took me over a week because I had to keep finding the time to do it but it was well worth it!
