Tell them you have a planned trip. I wouldn't cancel a non-refundable trip because you *might* get a job. Especially if it's not permanent.
Sometimes being honest and telling ahead of time they will take into account as something positive about you. However if they are inhuman they will be like well whatever and move on to the next and you wouldnt want to work with an admin like that anyways.

I would be honest and just tell them up front. Whether not it impacts them hiring you..I don't know. But it's always better to be honest from the get go!
