Re: Question About 5 Days Past Ovulation
If you did conceive, implantation hasn't happened yet. Any symptoms are surely a coincidence. I think you'll just have to wait to test. I never got a bfp before 10 days past ovulation.

Re: Question About 5 Days Past Ovulation
This time, I started getting very sore boobs at 6 DPO. I occasionally get some tenderness 1-2 days before AF, but it's nothing like the soreness I experienced at 6 DPO. Plus, it was much earlier so I started to suspect I was pregnant. I didn't test until 12 DPO.
It's really early so it could definitely be a coincidence. The only way to know for sure would be to test, but I wouldn't test until at least 10 DPO.

Question About 5 Days Past Ovulation
Once you ovulate the egg is only viable for 12-24 hours so depending on exactly when you ovulated on Saturday it depends- if it was more than 24 hours later the chance of getting pregnant is very, very low.

Re: Question About 5 Days Past Ovulation
Thanks everyone, hoping I'm not and that this is all in my head because I'm nervous. We have a few vacations planned for this year and were not planning on a baby right now.

This. Implantation wouldn't happen until at least 6dpo.
Heartburn doesn't happen until MUCH later on.

I disagree on the heartburn. Symptoms are different for everyone. Some of these things could be a coincidence especially because it's so early or they could be related to either pregnancy or your menstrual cycle.
Progesterone and estrogen affect digestion and that can happen very early on in pregnancy or before your period. With all of my pregnancies, I had digestive issues right away, sometimes even before I got a BFP. With my first, I had heartburn very early on and it was awful through 20 weeks. I was taking Zantac every day. It's definitely more common to have heartburn towards the end of pregnancy, but my heartburn is usually worse early on.

Re: Question About 5 Days Past Ovulation
Also keep in mind- those symptoms could be just a result of where you are in your cycle and hormonal fluctuations due to that.
So many times I SWORE I was pregnant and started freaking- because I had all the symptoms I had when I WAS pregnant- like increase sense of smell, pulling sensations, heartburn etc- and it turns out I wasn't pregnant at all.
I read up on it and the hormones that cause those things fluctuate during your normal cycle so if you are especially tuned into them- you might notice them.

I'm probably noticing everything because I'm nervous... My bloodhound nose is on point the last two days though, lol

This was me exactly with this pregnancy. My boobs starting killing me way earlier than normal. I also had none of my regular period symptoms. I finally tested when I was two days late and was in fact pregnant.

I'm like 4 days too late for that, lol.
Honestly, I took that once, still got pregnant and then had a miscarriage, so I don't mess with it anymore.

if you go, go right to the First Response Early Result since it gets results soonest. But again it might be a waste because if it's negative it won't mean much to ease your mind- being it's so early I might wait
