There’s a grocery store by my house that has no corral to put the carts. The carts are lined up at the front of the store. When my kids are with me I leave it in the lot. I’m not gonna traipse through packing lot with the kids in tow again to put the cart back and I certainly wouldn’t leave the kids in the car unattended while I put it back. If I’m a pig and a nuisance for that then so be it, It’s not like I murdered anyone...

J/k. 95% of the time I put my cart back, but I am sure like 100% of you there has been at least once you did not put your cart back.

OP, how does the psycho know it was your cart. Your cart could have pushed another cart. It was not his car. He sounds mentally imbalanced.

I have no idea unless he was watching us. I actually never looked to see if my cart was still where I placed it. Im also not sure how it coukd have moved. Yes, there was something really wrong with him for sure.

I can see why you would be shaken up, OP.

To be honest, I can’t remember the last time I didn’t put a cart back. I never really shopped for a lot in the US that required a cart since I left the US almost 15 years ago.

When I use a cart here, I ALWAYS put it back or else I won’t get my Euro deposit back. I think they have this by Aldi in the US. So yeah, I’m going to be that jerk that says I never leave my cart in the lot, but my situation is different.

There were carts everywhere yesterday at Walmart and Target and corrals completely empty. I couldn’t even pull in an empty spot without them there. There obviously wasn’t anyone on here shopping there. I hope if one of those people leaving them get caught and some lunatic verbally attacks them, that they know the part they played in it and they were wrong too.
