Deleting friend on Facebook
If I delete a friend do they know it? Does facebook send them an announcement like, "YOU'VE BEEN DELETED"? I got a woman on there who is just ridiculous with the apps and I'm tired of deleting them.
I'm mean, I know.

No it does NOT send them notification.

I have a really good friend who does that too I just ignore (buy pressing ignore) the apps but still remain friends. I don't knwo if she is a friend of yours but the ignore feature is good too.

they dont send them something telling them
however, if you look up that person's name, it will say "Add as a friend" to give you the option again; meaning they are not currently on your friends list

Yes I would like to know what an app is??
It's a bunch of applications which can be good time waters (i.e. quizzes and games) or irritations ( lil' green patch, pass a drink etc)
Normally I go with the flow but the woman I just deleted was doing about 10 a day. She was someone I barely know so...
I do like facebook. I found people from high school and it's great to catch up. I'm bad about requesting friends because I get worried that some will be like, "why is she adding me?"

I'd send her a message explaining why. One day I noticed I had a different number of friends than before, and noticed one of my friends had "dropped" me.  I just think it's strange to do, and if she notices, she may think she did something to offend you (other than the applications). As a friend, I would message anyone telling them why instead of being passive aggressive and deleting with no notice.
