Democrats - if your choice of candidate does not win
would you vote for the other Democrat, or McCain (or someone else entirely)?

The other democrat.
Both candidates seem somewhat similar so I would be happy with either.

Re: Democrats - if your choice of candidate does not win
Why isn't "We're moving to Canada" a choice in the poll?

The other candidate. It would take a frontal lobotomy for me to vote outside my party

Re: Democrats - if your choice of candidate does not win
I have to say I'm really torn. I originally was all about the democratic party...but i just don't know. I have think about it more. I just can't see staying in Iraq much longer. We need to work on international relations. UGH I don't know

Re: Democrats - if your choice of candidate does not win
I am torn between both, so I would vote for the other Democrat.
However, I think McCain is the best of all the Republican candidates- I did not like Romney or Huckabee at all.

Re: Democrats - if your choice of candidate does not win
This is the subject of contention every single night in my home. Because DH cannot vote - he's not a US citizen - he's trying to persuade me to vote his way.
Honestly though, I'm a Clinton supporter, and I have serious reservations about Obama, particularly with regard to his foreign policy agenda, and more particularly with respect to Israel. It really, REALLY worries me, so if he were to win, I really have no idea which way I'll vote.
I think it might just be the first time in my life I'll abstain.

ITA. But in the end, I think I'd vote for Obama.

The other candidate. This is not to say that I dislike McCain--I like him a lot. I think he's a good man and if it weren't for his age and cancer, I might even dance with the idea of voting for him, but I am afraid of who he might choose for VP. I would NEVER vote for a McCain/Rice ticket.

Please don't! At least vote for a third party...it's the only way we will get more and better choices! There are TONS of choices other than the two big parties.
I'm usually a third party voter, but I may vote Democrat this year.

Mexico has their own share of political problems and it's getting more and more expensive there every day (we have a vacation home there)
as for canada - DH and I thought about it in 2004, but DH didn't qualify for immigration!!
canada immigration
now I see that you need an email - 4 years ago that wasn't the case
