Dept of Health told me that people will be getting in line by 6:30 AM for flu shots

Un-freaking-real! Mind you the clinic doesn't start until 10:00 AM and we are going to have to wait outside until doors open at 9AM. Who the hell do you have to kill to get a frigging flu shot. I want to punch someone in the face right now.

I'm sorry but if kids are among the most at risk for flu, why the heck didn't they make enough vaccine for them?

we waited from 6 am-10 am.

OMG- Im sorry. My DD got it easily. She had a f/u appointment for an ear infection the same day that the shot came out at the dr, so she got it during her scheduled appointment. I just got mine this morning. Only about a 30-45 minute wait, though with all the paperwork, it took about 2 hours. Because it was so new the receptionist didn't really know what she was doing, what paperwork was needed, etc.

Is this for the regular (seasonal) flu shot or the H1N1 shot?

I'm asking b/c I made an appt. a month ago for DD to get the regular flu shot tomorrow...and I just called to confirm they had it (the preservative-free regular shot) in stock, and they do. But it sounded like they didn't have the H1N1 in stock the way she asked me if I was calling about "the regular flu shot". I planned on speaking to her doctor tomorrow about the H1N1 shot.
