dessert bar- chocolate covered items
I plan on having a dessert bar for my son's 1st bday. I want to do chocolate covered oreos, marshmellows and pretzel rods. How far in advance do you think I can do them? Would the weekend before be ok? Obvioulsy I'll have to do the baked goods the day before.

How would you store the oreos and pretzel rods if you made it the weekend before? I never done it before, but I would concerned about it tasting different.

Re: dessert bar- chocolate covered items
I was thinking of just putting them in either tupperware or ziplock bags. I would think the pretzels and oreos would be ok, I think the biggest concern would be the marshmellows?

I don't know if you can freeze the marshmellows and get it to thaw properly.

I would think storing them in tupperware would be fine.
I'd probably be more concerned about the pretzel rods than the marshmallows.
I've made candies before and kept them in tins and they were fine. I'd do the pretzel rods closer to the party.

I think they should be good as long as you keep them in tupperware. I know I've done choc. covered oreos/cake truffles a week in advance and they were fine.
