chocolate fountain- favorite items to dip- updated with pics on page 2
so i got a chocolate fountain yesterday and going to break it out tomrrow for a dinner party. wondering what are some favorites for dipping chocolate.
ive seen strawberries, pineapple, marshmallows, pretzels. what else is good?

so excited got 7 lbs of chocolate. dh isnt too happy i got it since im preggo and he thinks that he will come home from work and i will be swimming in chocolate. that would be a great dream.

I've seen people dip rice krispy treats. I like to dip licorce, cherry.

my fav too
when we did a fountain at our last party I got skewers and then had bowls of strawberries, apples, bananas, oranges, marshmallows, pretzels, potato chips... can't remember what else. people lingered by it forever- it was so funny!

thanks ladies. cant find fresh cherries so i guess i can do jarred cherries, bananas sounds yummy and i have potato chips already. going to get fresh fruit and marshmellows. im so excited i'll take pics and post.

What Can I Dip??
It is recommended that you offer or allow items to be dipped that are easy to handle or easy to put on a skewer.
Some companies offer their food items already skewered so the guests do not handle the food directly until they eat it.

blueberries, free of juice
strawberries, free of water
mango, free of juice
apple slices, free of juice
pretzels
maraschino cherries, free of juice
mint sticks
cookies
pirouettes (wafer cookie with creme filling)
graham cracker sticks
orange slices, free of juice
biscotti
angel food cake
rice krispie treats

banana...
I was at a benefit dinner where they had cheese doodles to dip  when I asked about it, the woman running the fountain said I'd be surprised how popular that is!!!
