dessert help

we are going to a family friends for thanksgiving and i was asked to make dessert. later they informed me they do a "dessert competition" everything thanksgiving so i need to bring my a-game

i dont mind baking - but tend to stick to easy things (esp since ill be trying to bake this year with a 9 month old at my side)

can anyone share their favorite semi-easy dessert recipe?

i dont want to do an apple or pumpkin pie

The hardest part about these brownies is opening the caramels!

They are delicious. I made them last year for Thanksgiving and everyone loved them.
