Detecting pg using blood tests - how early?

I have another LI-IVF appointment next week (on cd22) to check my bloods and progesterone levels. By then, I'll be 7dpo.

Will the dr be able to detect pg that early? I'll only be 7dpo, so how early can a blood test detect pg? I'd love to walk out of that appointment with good news... Chat Icon

So I guess that test follows the same rules as any other poas test... no earlier than around 12 dpo?

My RE has always had me come back at 14dpo for a blood pregnancy test if AF didn't show before then.

I think that's too early. The earliest would probably be 10 dpo, but I think that's still possibly too early for detection.

The tests won't come back positive until after implantation, which can occur as late as CD 12.
