Developmental Ped, Stony Brook
Has anyone had any experience with or heard of developmental pediatrician Dr. Chang, or Cheng at Stony Brook? I don't see him or her listed on the website, but when I called, that's who they could give me an appointment with. The appointment is not until February 20th, which I guess is pretty standard, but kind of frustrating nonetheless. Thanks for any feedback.

Re: Developmental Ped, Stony Brook
Hi. My DH and I brought our son to see dr. Chung last month. She was very nice and very thorough. My son is on the spectrum and basically we wanted to make sure there wasn't anything we should be doing that we weren't. She really just talked to us and went over everything with us. She briefly examined our son and told us we were doing everything right and to come back in 6 mos. I brought all of his paperwork. Feel free to ask any questions or FM me...

Re: Developmental Ped, Stony Brook
I liked her, she was great. There wasn't much she could 'do' she told us to come back in six months and we have that appointment in mid-January. She just started there 5 months ago so thats why she probably isn't on their site. But since she is new, the wait time for an appointment is 10x shorter than most developmental peds. She went through the basics, and like the pp, assured us we were doing everything right.
