Developmental Preschools

Hi

We are starting to look into a toddler school program through EI for my ds for this fall and hoping to transition him into full time preschool the following fall. Our EIOD suggested the following schools to look at: My ds receives PT, OT, ST including feeding and SE. My ds does not have any sensory/processing disorders- he has severe low muscle tone.

Kramer Learning Center-Bay Shore
Leeway-Sayville
Just Kids-Lindenhurst
Building Blocks-Commack
UCP-commack.

I was wondering if any of you could share your experiences with any of the above schools. We live in Western Suffolk so any other suggestions would be appreciated. Feel free to FM me.

Thanks

My son doesn't attend sp. ed preschool but I did look at a few. I've heard good things about Just Kids in Lindy. I toured the school and I liked it. I also toured Building Blocks but I wasn't a fan of the director.

I would have went with Just Kids if we went with ed school.

My daughter went to Kramer Learning Center and had an amazing experience! She had ABA, Speech, OT, PT, SEIT and feeding therapy at Kramer. She has severe low muscle tone as well and we loved the pt program there!
Please FM me if you want more info!
