DH can't bend his knee....
He has been in agonizing pain when bending his knee to go up/down stairs, but it's fine when he's sitting down at a chair, or laying stright on the couch. He thought it would go away, but it hasn't and advil isn't working.
Does anyone have a DR they would recommend for DH to see to ensure nothing more serious is wrong?
We live in central Suffolk. TIA!

I would go to your regular Dr. first and ask them who they would recommend... chances are they'll send you to an orthopedic Dr.

I saw an orthopedist affliated with Stony Brook who was very good. I'll try to locate the name; it was several years ago, but everyone in the practice was very good.

Dr. Charles Bleifeld associated with St. Catherine of Sienna is the best orthopedist around. we've used him for many years.
