Knee probs with pregnancy

So for the past week or so I have been having trouble flexing my right knee after sleeping or sitting down for a long time. Has anyone experienced this? If I'm walking on it for a long time it's fine but then stiffens up when I sit. I'm going to run it by the Dr. my next visit but thought I'd ask you girls too.

I had the same problem towards the end of my PG with both knees. I think it's due to the added weight. After I gave birth, the the pain completely went away.

Someone else had mentioned that to me too. I just found it odd I've only gained 17 lbs, I'm not swollen yet and it's only one knee? Gotta love prenancyChat Icon

Re: Knee probs with pregnancy

Its also because of how the baby is laying/sitting on your nerves and body.. With my son He used to roll over at night and sit so that I would lose entire feeling of my lower extremities.. talk about scary.. I have learned all the wacky things kids can do while inside you and stiff knees definately fit into where he/she is laying.. try getting on your hands and knees to take some pressure off of where the baby is laying on your back.. Mineral Ice always soothed me well.. Good Luck!
