DH has no common sense! long vent-- sorry

Ok so my DH has been fighting with his ex for the past few days. My stepson is sick and the ex wanted us to watch him yesterday. I told DH that he had to find out exactly how sick because my c-section is scheduled for the 22nd and I CANNOT get sick right now! We just wanted to know what we were dealing with so that we could make arrangements accordingly (i.e. if he was that sick my dh would have brought him to my mil's house instead of here). The ex (who btw is a nurse) claimed that she didn't know how sick he was and got mad that DH even asked! After she "cried" about not having anyone to watch him all of a sudden her husband was able to stay home (we pretty much figure he was off all along anyway!)

Now today she calls up and dh has to take him to the doctor and where does he wind up after... in my house! I normally wouldn't care but this kid could care less... coughs all over the place, doesn't wash his hands, etc.

Now dh is mad at ME because I said something about washing off the phone after his son used it. I proceded to tell him that I now hope that he gets sick and cannot come to the hospital when our daughter is born (way to go hormones!).

All I know is if I wind up getting sick there will be hell to pay!!! I've already got an axe to grind with this woman after she made the comment that it was "ridiculous" that we didn't celebrate Thanksgiving or Christmas last year because our son died and that I should just "get over it"!

Vent over! Thanks for letting me get that out before someone here got hurt!

I'm sorry you have to deal with this at all, let alone so close to your due date.

so sorry to hear that....just try and relax....some people are just insensitive....just think of the good- your little girl is going to be here in 11 days!!!! stay well!!!!
