DH is kind of rude

So DH comes home for lunch today and tells me that he's going out for happy hour with people from work. That, in and of itself, doesn't bother me, but today is my day off and it's Friday night and I'm sitting home alone! He could have asked me to come.

I would love to get the girls together, but we're all (DH included) are going out tomorrow for my best friend's 30th b-day. I doubt anyone is going to want to go out tonight too.

And get this... that jerk just called me to see if I want to meet him out. He always does this. He doesn't invite me out, says he'll be home at a certain time, and then calls a half hour AFTER that time and asks me to meet him. He's such an azz. I told him no way. I told him that everything would have been fine if he had asked me originally, but now because he decides he's out drinking and wants to stay out that I'm not going to run out after him. I'm so annoyed, he always pulls this cr@p.

Happens all the time to me because my DH's work host Happy hour. The thing that kills me is he won't ask me but then he will be like oh so and so FI was there or DW. Would it be so bad to call and say others have guest come down! All of the HH are held with in 2 minutes of my home! So I am totally with you on this one!! It is rude!

Yeah, he's right up the street. It's like a 2 minute drive. And it's not even like his job was hosting it, they were just going out for some drinks. What annoys me the most is he thinks by inviting me that he can stay out drinking. If he wanted to be out with me, he would have asked in the first place.

Do you think it's that he thinks he can stay out later or that he's finally thought "I'm having a good time & wish she was here"? Because really - can't he stay at as late as he wants? I agree it's annoying to not be someone's first thought but that's only because he's thinking of himself. Second place isn't that bad.

No, it's definitely that he wants to stay out longer. It's been over and hour since he called and he's still not home.

While I would love to be invited sometimes, the other times I really think I would be enjoying the time by myself. Have you ever asked why he doesn't invite you?

I have asked and he always says because it's just work people. Well if that's the case, then why do I get the invitation later? And not for nothing, I know it's not like he's ashamed of me, I've seen the people he works with.

In my book hes in HOT HOT water!!! its hard to go to sleep when ur pis sed and hes not home. if u dont want to call him.. then text him
