DH is taking DB to next ped visit, need advice
I psoted earleir that i'm a little concerned about db- she's 9.5 months old, doesnt GET to a sitting postion, or pull to stand yet. at her last check up - she was 8.5 months, ped was not conerned at all. her next visit is when shes 10 months (my ped does every 6 weeks from 9-12 months). anyhow, i cant make it to that visit, so DH will be taking her. problem is- DH thinks shes fine. DH is a doc, btw, but NOT a ped. so how do i get him to ask about these things? they definitly shoudl be brought up

Not usre how to handle your dh other then to say why don't you call the ped with your questions or reschedule for when you can make it?
Also, dd was not doing any of those things at those ages either- she was a very late walker but is fine. Good luck.

I would just give him a list of questions you want him to ask and tell him to take notes as to the answers.
Also, I could be wrong but, from everything I read I don't think not doing these things at this age is a sign of a problem...isn't it well within the range?

Re: DH is taking DB to next ped visit, need advice
DS is 9 months and he just got used to sitting. He can't get INTO the position of sitting though. He started pulling himself UP from the sitting position, but he has always been interested in standing. He was never liking sitting. One day he pulled himself to standing, but no more.

Unfortunately, no matter what you do, DH will probably not ask the ped about the standing/sitting issue. I believe he is 100% correct that there is nothing wrong with your DD. She is still well within the range of what she should be doing. By giving him a list of questions, he'll probably feel like you don't trust his medical opinion, or his parenting opinion.
If you are really concerned, I would call the office beforehand, and just mention your concerns, and ask if he could give his opinion on it, either to your DH, or if you call back after the visit. If the ped voluntarily tells your DH some info, I think he'd be more likely to relay that info back to you.

Leo had to take Josh to dr once, I made out a list of questions...when he got home, we went through the list and he told me exactly what dr said.

I've given DH a list of questions as well as a monthly update of what DC is up to when I cannot make a visit. I also fax the list(s) to the pediatrician's office in advance of the visit.
