DH Vent!!!!!
Ok, so Saturday morning I woke up with a wicked bad back ache. I think I threw it out running to the LIRR train the night before.
So I wake up yesterday feeling much better. My DH works at a kennel on the weekends. I scrubbed the whole house, caught up on laundry, did grocery shopping, and took care of our DS all before he came home from work at 4PM.
4PM-DH comes home 430-530PM-DH takes a nap on the couch while I'm feeding our DS and making DH's dinner because he was starving (meatloaf) 530-630PM-DH watches TV and eats while I eat then pack the bag for the babysitter for the next day along with bottles for that evening 630-7PM-decide to take a family walk. I tell DH my back still is in knots (no response)... 7PM-830PM-DH decides to take our dog to hang out with our neighbors dog while I take DS back to our house. DH treats our dog just as good as our DS while I treat our dog like a dog..... 9PM-I bathe son and tell DH to put away his clothes (DH's clothes, not the babys) that I cleaned HERE IS WHERE I LOOSE IT!!! 915PM-DH puts himself to bed. Now mind you I work in NYC and wake up at 530AM PLUS I do the middle of the night feeding because my DH doesn't sleeps through the monitor (mind you DS's room is also 2 feet away). I say "You're in bed? Hello, I'm exhausted and have to be up early and wake up early and get up in the middle of the night, the least you could do is do the late night feeding". NO RESPONSE!!!!!! So I feed DS at 930PM and I hear DH say "turn on channel 28, its freaking". ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!! You are still up watching TV in bed while I'm taking care of our son.
I'm sorry, but I'm sooooo mad right now. I know its wordy but I dont' know what to do. If he pulls this crap again I'll loose it.
I commute to NYC, I'm the breadwinner, I do all the housework. Now granted DH does work hard, but he doesn't commute and is home by 530PM now. He does make dinner, but come on!!!!!!
Vent over..........
Oh, and of course no "thank yous" either
OH, it gets even better. So I just called to ask how DS got to the sitter and DH could tell I was upset and ask "whats wrong" so I tell him and get a "cute I sorrys". I sad not good enough and he goes silent. How could he not know I was upset.....

Re: DH Vent!!!!!
I'm sorry...I would go on a strike. No laundry OR dinner for him. That would infuriate me.

Re: DH Vent!!!!!
Wow.... your day sounds so exhausting!
I would have a serious sit-down with DH when your not so upset/tired/fed up with him, and let him know that he MUST start to pitch in and do his fair share. It's not fair to you. Sometimes they really do not know until you tell them directly.

Re: DH Vent!!!!!
he needs to start pitching in ASAP! DH is very good with helping with my DS , I would lose it if he wasn't . Tell him if he wants you to do all the work you will need to be a SAHM , and he'll need to work 10 jobs to make ends meet

Re: DH Vent!!!!!
I feel bad for you! Yes, DH should pitch in more but that's often easier said then done. Not everyone's husband is the same. Good luck. I hear as DC gets older it gets easier. Here's hoping.
