DHs 30th birthday planning HELP
I need major help. My DH is turning 30 in Sept and I am trying to have it at a bar that will have a buffet and preferably our own area. I am just looking for a place that will provide music and we can have a lot of fun with open bar and a buffet dinner. Ansy ideas you might have would be great. I am in the process of checking out the nutty irishman and lily flannigans. I have also checked out some local places in sayville--I am not limited to suffolk but any ideas you would have would be greatly appreciated. My husband and I just can't find a place.

I am planning a surprise 30th for my dh in august. The part I had a problem with is finding a bar who would hold a party on a saturday night. You might want to call a bunch of places and make sure they will accomodate you if it is a on a weekend.

I haven't been there in years but had a luncheon there after I graduated college and we had a great time.

Did you try the Portly Villager in Sayville?
That is where they had my DH's bachelor party. But that was also a couple of years ago too.

Brennans in Hauppauge. A friend had her husbands party there about 2 yrs ago in the upstairs area.

We had my friend's 30th at the Portly Villager in Sayville.
Did you try:
-Blackbird's
-Blue (Bayport - they have a party room attached to the bar)

Did you try Bruno's in (I guess its considered Ronkonkoma/Lake Grove).
Right on Hawkins.
I went to a party there in Nov.

they are both in Long Beach but the Saloon and the Inn in Long Beach are great bars. Saloon has its own upstairs with back bar- they can close it off for a certain time.. the Inn has a whole upstairs and bar as well..... My sister had my BIL 30th there... The Inn aslo has a live band as well as DJ!!!
