DH's Dad passed away suddenly last night..
from a heart attack :(
It was so sudden, and we are devastated because we did not get to tell him that we are pregnant with baby #2. We were waiting until we were sure the pregnancy would "stick".
Life is fragile, and way too short. Hold your loves ones tight, and make sure they know you love them.

I am so sorry for you and your family right now. I know what it is like to lose a parent when you are pregnant. I was 11 weeks when I lost my mother suddenly. This is our first baby and I am the only girl she had. She died of a heart attack while I was at work.
It is very hard. The next couple of days and weeks will be very stressful but you just do the best you can do. Be sure to take breaks and relax. I was so worried about the baby and the extra stress but I am almost 21 weeks now and things look great.
Be there for your husband the best you can and I am sure his father knows now. My mother knew but it still hurts a lot that she wont be here fore the babies birth. If you need to talk or vent or anything feel free to message me. I am still learning how to deal myself but if you need a ear to listen I am someone who gets what you are going through. Take care

One of my good friends just lost her dad suddenly this week too. He too, had a heart attack in his sleep.
