DH's Ultrasound Appt Yesterday.
So we went for the Ultrasound since the Urologist was not happy with the SA results. He told DH he was more concerned with the morphology more then anything (2% normal). DH had blood drawn to check his hormones & also the ultrasound to see if they can see anything that might be causing it. We are doing a followup up SA this weekend, so then we will sit down & consult with the Urologist with the next step.
here was the biggest blow (I was in the waiting room so I didn't hear it but for DH to tell me, I know it was hard). The Urologist told him that with the way things stand, we will not be able to conceive on our own  (even though we had a feeling this was coming, it is a lot harder to hear it).
For me, the worst was hearing it coming from DH. It was such a blow  So, onward we go, one step at a time....

I am sorry but I can totally relate. We are also dealing with severe MF so I know exactly how you and your DH feel.
If you decide on IUI or IVF, Cornell is the best clinic for MF issues, just something you might want to consider. Their urologists (2 best doctors in the world) work directly with Cornell's REs. Something very important when it comes to dealing with male infertility.

I am so sorry you have to go through this. I know how you feel. The doctors told us the same thing. We were both in the room when he told us and it was just horrible.

I'm so sorry. We also have MF and the first time we heard from a dr. that our chances of conceiving were basically zilch........I cried. Honestly I don't ever remember crying that hard or for that long. I mourned then we went forward with IVF/ICSI. It's extremely hard but you have to mourn and eventually when you are done you will go forward. I know how hard it is it's a devasating blow but it will be OK
BTW: DD is 5 months old....conceived on our first IVF/ICSI.

Our issue is also MF. We were told that we had less than a 1% chance of conceiving on our own but DD is here without any IUI or IVF. We are now moving on to IVF/ICSI for #2 but miracles can definitely happen!!

I cant imagine hearing this news....and I know this has to be so difficult.
Reading some of the responses though gives me hope that there is miracles out there and I hope one for you and Jay!!!
