dh's working long hours......
I know I am not the only one in this situation but it is wearing on me this week!
Dh works crazy hours...I appreciate it, b/c I it is what allows me to be a SAHM. But this week he has been gone from before the kids get up til after bed every night. 3 kids with 0 help all week is the norm for me, but this week it is just taking its toll on me! I am BEAT.
Just venting......

Re: dh's working long hours......
I know how you feel. My dh is gone at least 12 hours each day sometimes more. I am home with 8 mth old twins and it's not easy. Luckily my mom helps out a lot but it's def hard without my dh around.

Re: dh's working long hours......
I hear you! DH works 8:30 - 8:30 plus he commutes about an hour each way. I'm still on maternity leave right now so I'm home with DS all day. When DH comes home he helps out but we are only up for about an hour and a half at that point and both of us are dragging. Although he does get most of the middle of the night diaper changes

Re: dh's working long hours......
DH works midnights in the city which sucks to begin with but this week he has worked THREE doubles Blessing and a curse, we can always use the extra money but UGH! Peyton's birthday party is Sunday and he left for work last night and I will not see him again till Sat night. When there is so much OT, it makes more sense for him to sleep at work. I feel your pain!!!!!!!!

Re: dh's working long hours......
I hear you!! They are the longest weeks when DH works a lot so I totally get it. My dh works long hours too and for the most part 6 days a week.. The days I need to have a breakdown I do but I am also so grateful I can stay home & have the nice life we do, DH is a great father & hubby & works hard for us so I try and remember all that when some weeks seem to be never ending!!! Vent away, we are all here & understand!!

My DH is gone at least 12 hours a day and some weeks works 6 days, so I can sympathize. It gets very lonely, and it's difficult not having the help
