Diaper and Clothing size question
How old was your DC when he/she started to wear size 2 diapers and 3-6 months old clothing?
I am concerned that DS is putting on a lot of weight quickly. He was born 7 lbs 14 oz. and was back to his birth weight at his 1 week appointment. He was 8 lbs at 3 weeks. He never wore newborn size clothing and only wore newborn pampers the week he came home from the hospital. DS is 6 weeks old tomorrow and I have to get him size 2 diapers starting today as he leaked through the size ones. I just purchased some 3-6 month clothing for him yesterday. He can still fit into some 0-3 clothes but they are getting snug on him in the length. Is this normal?

totally normal, all babies grow at different rates....my dd will be 6 months on the 20th and she has been wearing size 3 diapers and size 6-9 mos clothing for over a month now....some of her 3-6 mos clothing fits her but she is more comfy, I think, in 6-9 mos

I believe I started my son on size 2 diapers around 6 weeks as well.
My son is still in size 2s the next size which is 2-3 is still too big on him. My DS is now in 6 month clothes!

I wouldn't be concerned. My son is almost 6 months. He is in 12 -18 months clothing and size 3 diapers.
He was born 17 days early, 8lbs 12 oz, 21 inches. At his 3 month visit he was 16lbs 14 oz and 26.5 inches. So I am assuming now he is almost 18lbs, 28 inches - he is big either way!

I believe that my son started size 2 diapers when he was about 8 or 9 weeks. He never wore newborn diapers or clothes...he was a big guy at 8lbs 11oz when he was born and never lost weight..always gaining. 
He started wearing 3-6 when he turned 3 months and I noticed all of the one pieces were getting tight. He still wears some 0-3 pants/short but we are moving into 3-6 now too. At his last appt he was measuring 27 inches so I bought 6-12 for all the footed pjs.  It's funny how hard it is to keep up with his growth spurts.

Totally normal. They grow a LOT the first 6-9 months.
Steven is 10 months and in 18-24 month or 24 month clothes.

My DS wore size 2's when he was 3 months old and 3-6 clothes are just starting to fit him *well* at 4.5 months.
BUT I think he is kinda tiny.
Plus, it is all indivdual, I mean, DS really would have fit in size 1's, but he was eating more and the absorbancy wasn't cutting it anymore.
Don't stress, he is a growing boy
