Diaper Bag/Kate Spade Stevie Diaper Bag help urgently needed!!!

I am the biggest stupid idiot in this world



I have a nylon pink Kate Spade Stevie diaper bag. On Tuesday, SIL gave DD some milk in her sippy. Like the idiot I am, I did not tighten the top enough and I didn't realize it until I came home. It was in the side pocket and although I took it out the next morning, I didn't realize that some milk had spilled and pooled in the side pocket.

Well, it went bad. The bag reeks horribly I tried washing it out and it stinks terribly. I tried putting some laundry detergent in and still no dice.

How do I get the stench out of my bag and get my bag to dry and go back to the way it was? Should I hand wash it? Bring it to the dry cleaners? Machine wash? Do I Febreeze it? I tried spraying Bath and Body Works spray in it and it still stinks to high heavens. I won't even tell you what it smells like. And it is still damp to boot.

I am so angry and frustrated.

Try baking soda. Even the pet remover one. Dh spilled milk in his car and it reeked. He used the baking soda and the smell came out

Crasher here as you know.. but I once accidentally spilled WET FISHY CAT FOOD on my dh's work bag It was leaning up against the counter when I opened the food, it spilled. I felt SO bad and it stunk terribly! I took it to the cleaners but they said there was nothing they could do for me but Febreeze.

We ended up getting the knockoff Febreeze made by Glade and designed for pet odors and that worked. Technically this was a pet FOOD odor.. my DH literally drenched the bag in it by spraying it so much but the smell came out and he can use it again!!


Good luck!! You're really not having much luck this week between those shoes and the bag!!

sprinkle baking soda all over it and let it sit...no water. Then vacum it up or shake it off. An entire half gallon of ice cream melted in the trunk of my car and it smelled horrible. The baking soda worked like a charm. If that doesn't work google how to get out spoiled milk smell, there were other ideas if that didn't work. good luck!
