did any of your babies sleep in their swings all night long?
Did any of your babies sleep in their swings all night long-my DD is obsessed with it all of a sudden and wont sleep swaddled anymore nor in her bed? Anyone run in to this? I hesitate to allow her to sleep in it all night as will this encourage her to not sleep in a crib...plus i worry she will want to sleep in our room indefinitely?

Re: did any of your babies sleep in their swings all night long?
Lily loved her swing when she was an infant....she napped in there pretty much every nap. At night, we put her in the swing to fall asleep and then transitioned her to the crib once she was asleep. So she never spent the entire night in the swing....but she spent a lot of time in there. I don't know if it would be a great idea to let a baby sleep in there all night every night....

Yes-for the first few months-he loved it!! But at night he slept in a table top swing that I would put in his pack and play! This way he was safe! He wouldn't sleep in the bassinet at all!! Then we moved him to the crib!

YES! Mine slept in his swing pretty much for the first 13 weeks of life, and half the time it was going all night. Eventually I got him to sleep in there without it moving and then I transitioned him to the crib, he HATED the basinet.

Yes. Every night from about 6 weeks until 7 months and every nap. It was in her room. She would NOT sleep in the crib but slept 12 hours a night in the swing. It was a very tough habit to break.

Re: did any of your babies sleep in their swings all night long?
Yeah, i am using the miracle blanket right now and she is out in her bed..ugh! I dont want to her to sleep in the swing..i dont mind during the day but at night, just not sure it will be an easy habit to break either..
My mom in law begs to differ but i really feel my gut says try the miracle blanket and maybe we are in for a few tough nights..in the end, i just want her to be in the crib and sleeping like a champ! I go back to work in a few weeks and cant be sitting on my couch all night watching her sleep in a swing, lol!

Re: did any of your babies sleep in their swings all night long?
we usually let DS fall alseep on the boppy after the bottle and then we transition him....
I don't blame you for not wanting him to get into that habit... definitely try another swaddle blanket... and maybe change your evening routine.... the bottle/boppy routine has always worked for us.....
