Did anyone CHOOSE PIO over the suppositories?
I really friggen hate those things. My nurse gave me the option and I got overwhelmed at the thought of that many shots if I do get pregnant, but I just remember how MISERABLE I am using those suppositories.

If I had the choice, I would have taken the shots over the suppositories. I HATE THOSE THINGS!

I did both.
The happiest day was when I went from intramuscular progesteroneTO suppositories.
After a long time with intramuscular progesterone (I got pregnant & did them until about 11 weeks... when I transitioned to 2 weeks of suppositories), I had superficial infections (had to do topical antibiotics) and a numb area on my butt (which is still there). It was very difficult to find someone to give the injection if I or my hubby was at work overnight. Not to mention that they hurt.
With suppositories, I just wore a pantyliner. Inserting them was like using a tampon & I had very little leakage.
