Did anyone ever go to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos?
A mom in Karate was telling me about this place. It has a HUGE indoor water park and looks really cute.
Has anyone ever been there>

yes we went in December, Aidan had a great time as did my niece (3.5)!
He still asks to go back!
I personally loved the evening cookies and hot cocoa in the lobby right before the animated show and bedtime story
I can post some pics if you like...

Re: Did anyone ever go to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos?
Yes, we went last April. My DH's family--parents, brothers, wives and kids decided to make it our new Good Friday tradition--what better way to celebrate the crucifixion of Christ than to go sailing down a water slide!
Anyhow, it was a lot of fun. DD was really too young for the action, as was her newborn cousin, but the other boys were 15, 12, 9 and 2 at the time and they all loved it! DH and I stayed for 1 night--we left early on Friday and came home late on Saturday, so we really had two whole days and I think that was more than enough. The rest stayed 2 nights. There are like 4 big slides, a lazy river and jacuzzis, wave pool, etc. They have story time at night for the little ones and I believe there was an Easter egg hunt when we went.
There is a pretty decent restaurant on the property--buffet style and an Aveda spa--SIL and I got massages!! The outlets are right down the road too, so other SIL ditched her kids with the hubby and went shopping!
Well, we're going back this Good Friday, so it's time to break out my chlorinated Easter bonnet and my maternity bathing suit this year...and away we go!
I recommend!

Oooohh...I'd LOVE to see pics!!! This place sounds so adorable!!
I seriously just heard about it for the first time an hour ago.
Besides the water park, what else were big hits for the kids? (I have a 5 year old and an almost 2 year old).
Thanks sooo much!!

We live in Ohio where they just built the new one and we cannot wait to go! We are going to make it a birthday tradition for Jack and Molly every year since they are a few days apart in October. What better way to break up the deary days of October!

We went in October and it was awesome!!! I swear, my 3 1/2 year old mentions it *at least* twice a week.
We're going back in May (when the prices are more reasonable!!)

Re: Did anyone ever go to the Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos?
Hey, we were just planning a trip there end of April. Several friends of mine have went, and they LOVE it - but they usually stay during the week, cause it is a little pricey $300+ per nite usually on weekends. I will keep you all posted after our trip!
