Did anyone have a maternal/gut instinct about the sex of baby...

...and end up being right when it was confirmed?

What was it that let you just "know"?

DH and I are convinced that we are having a boy. We are due in 9 days so we will find out soon!

(I am thinking boy because I have had 2 very vivid dreams that it is a boy)

2 days before AF was due i had tingling boobs, which clued me into that i might be pregnant. at that time i had this sudden premonition that if i was pregnant it was with a boy. i told DH, and he called me crazy.

turns out i was pregnant, and for the whole first tri i only looked at boy stuff and i was convinced that it was a boy.

sure enough, our son is due in 7.5 weeks!

i couldn't tell you what it was that made me think it was a boy - just a very strong premonition.

When I found out I was pregnant I thought to myself "my son". Since then, EVERYONE has said I am having a boy. We have to find out another 8 weeks to find out.

My friend swore she was having a girl because she always loved the name Amanda. And once she found out she was pregnant, she kept hearing the song on the radio (Amanda by Barry Manilow) and she swore that was a sign.

But when she went for her 20 week appt, it was a BOY!

I guess gut instincts works for certain people.

I think I am having a but everyone else says girl. We will find out on sept 14 at my level II.

When I got my BFP, my first thought was that it was a girl. I was calling my belly "Elizabeth" the whole weekend. And then someone told me it was a boy and that they were always right so I got confused.

My gut was right.

Most people all said boy too!

I feel like it's going to be a boy. But with the way my skin has been lately, I am now thinking it's a girl!

I think we are having a boy. We find out in 6 days, so we'll see if I am right!

I have a feeling its a girl. Plus with the old wives tale the heart beat was between 150-160bpm---it supposedly a girl. We get to find out if baby cooperates in two more weeks.

Yes, I thought I was having a boy from the time we had the ultrascreen.

I'm not sure why--the baby just looked like a boy to me on the scan, though of course without seeing the parts, there isn't much difference. I also just couldn't picture us with a for some reason, though either would have been fine with me.

The only instinct that I have is that I had a few dreams early in my pg and each time the baby was a girl. I don't know if that really means anything or not. I am only in my 16 week and we aren't finding out the gender so I have another 23 or so weeks before we will find out.

I dont really know why I feel this way but I def think that we are having a girl....we really wanted a boy first but obviously will be happy with just a healthy baby regardless of the sex.....Im just thinking girl....we find out Sept 15th so I will let ya know if I was right...

Yea! That's also why I asked... with my skin (I NEVER break out and now I am) and with the severe nausea I'm starting to think because I heard that those symptoms indicate high estrogen levels.

I know what you mean! I never had problem skin, so I wonder. I always was leaning towards a girl, but now I know I'd be so happy with either and cannot wait!

i've had boy dreams the whole time and he's a boy :) i'll know for certain in 11 wks, but the sono pic was very convincing!

I knew...everyone thought I was having a girl(I was really sick and gained a ton of weight)

but I knew he was a boy and called my belly Josh all along.
