Did anyone have to get a blood patch from a Pain Mgmt Doctor because of headaches/backache from epidural?
I have had terrible headache and backaches since my c-section 2 weeks ago, and my OB wants me to see a pain Mgmt Doctor on Monday. Did anyone else do this??

I had a blood patch about 5 days after my son was born. I had spinal headaches due to leaking spinal fluid. Once I had the patch, the pain went away within the hour.
Basically, the doctor draws blood from your arm and injects it into your back. You have to lie down and no heavy lifting! It was SOOOO worth it.

I had this after a CT myelogram that left me with a horrendous spinal headache. It WILL help it. I hope you feel better.
