Did anyone hear about the car vandalism going on in Island Park?
My mom calls me at work because she said it was on the news.
Dh's rear windshield was smashed today and I can't find any info online about it.
Anyone hear about this?
Of course she has to call me at work with ZERO info......

Someone fired pellets or BBs at parked cars in Island Park overnight Tuesday, damaging the windows of more than 15 vehicles, police said.
The car windows were shot sometime after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Fourth Squad detectives said.
Investigators ask anyone with information on the incidents to make a confidential call to Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. Cash rewards are offered.

Turns out 30-40 cars got hit last night! Our friend is a cop in the area, I just got off the phone with him......
Fluckin people have nothing better to do......
