Did anyone NOT get Pre -e?
My dr seems sure they I will develop it eventhough I've never had hbp. Seems weird that he would just assume. I know it's more common with twins but I didn't think it was a given.

Did anyone NOT get Pre -e?
No pre-e for me.
I had other complications though - short cervix that kept getting shorter, modified bedrest at 16 weeks, preterm labor, contractions I wasn't feeling, hospital bedrest for a week at 24 weeks, and my water broke at 31w6d.

I didn't have a history of hbp and I didn't get pre-e. Had a great pregnancy (except for an awful case of PUPPS at the end). My OB never mentioned pre-e to me. He just monitored me but didn't say I had a higher risk of getting it.

I didn't get it. At my 34 week appt there was the tiniest bit of protein in my urine but bp was normal. My Dr was going to be on vacation the following week. The appt I had was with a Dr in the practice who made me nervous and I was so worried about my bp. But it didn't matter, my water broke the Sunday before my Tues appt. I was exactly 35 weeks.

I had signs of pre-e with my son (my first pregnancy) - I had very high blood pressure and small traces of protein in my urine. Though I would up delivering before actually being diagnosed.
With my twins I never had any signs of pre-e the entire time. My BP was perfect as was my urine.

Me either and this was almost my exact experience. It was a really scary experience, but everything worked out.

crashing.
pre-e is more common with IVF pregnancies and you are at a higher risk for it if you have clotting or immune issues.
that doesn't at all mean you are destined to get it.
i didnt really know that i was a higher risk for it and i developed it around 32w and delivered at 33w, and that was with a singleton.

I didn't the 1st time around, lately I've been having bad headaches and I had protein in my urine yesterday so they did some bloodwork to check.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get it this time.
