Did anyone plan their child's christening while pregnant?
DH and I both want to have the christening around middle to end of may which means if the baby is on time then would be around 6-8 weeks old. Since it would be the height of wedding season DH wants to book it soon. With my other 2 kids, we had enough time since we baptized them later.

We waited till DS was born. We had enough time though, we had him baptized when he was 4 months old. We also had him baptized during "wedding season" (August) and had no problem booking the place we wanted.

Yes I did. I was hesitant but I wanted to do it at 8 weeks on a certain day when the godfather was in town.
Just to warn you though, I basically forgot about it until a week before and then had to run around like a nut that week so make sure you don't do that

I booked the date with the church because DH wanted it on a specific day. But I waited until she was born to book the restaurant, order her dress ect...

I booked it months before he was born, he was 13 weeks old. The Godparents were OOS so they needed plenty of notice.

Towards the end I started planning. Everything was pretty much set when Gregory arrived and it was a huge help since maternity leave left me with anything but free time!
