How old was your child for the christening?
There was a note in our bulletin this week that it was church doctrine to christen the baby weeks after birth...we were thinking more like 2-3 months after. I just wanted to know what the standard was....thank you.

Christopher was a bit older. He was 10 months. We kept putting it off for financial reasons. We're going to do Kaylee's a lot sooner. Hopefully in December (she'll be 2 months then.)

Emily was 9 months old and the church didn't give us a hard time about it at all. I explained that we were waiting to have money for the party but eventually just gave in and had a small bbq, and the priest told me basically better late then never.
