Did anyone see the movie "Taken"? (possible spoilers)
DH and I watched it last night. I was SO freaked out by the story line - I was up till 3am tossing and turning... I couldn't get some of those images out of my head. sick, just SICK!!!!!!!!!
it was a good movie, don't get me wrong, just a really sick story, which happens to be reality in some parts of the world 
just wondering if anyone else feels the way I do.
and PS: I had no idea Liam Neeson was such a bad@ss

I didn't care for it for some reason. I felt like they could have done more with the story. However human trafficking is an issue not only overseas but right here in our own country, in fact right here in New York.

you're right - every now on then they show people on the local news who were being held as sex slaves.

I thought the movie was amazing...DH and I both loved it...
I couldn't sleep after we watched it either..kinda of distrubing...

I loved the movie!! I couldn't believe how young girls are treated by men in those countries, and how this stuff really goes on! Some parts were  but the movie was great over all.

I saw it and loved it, but was also VERY disturbed by it. Human trafficking is one of those things that I was vaguely aware of, but the movie really made me really think about it & it's sick and scary

I loved it and I thought Liam Neeson was amazing in it. It is a bit disturbing though!

Great movie.
I think its a real eye opener for parents who think their kids are 100% safe when they travel alone....because realy it can happen to anyone so easily!

ITA, i really never thought about and was very disturbed by the movie. I thought the movie was great but I was shaking the whole time and on edge after.

Happens in most parts of the worlds including here in the USA.
The movie was ok, I agree kind of scary.

yes but her charcter probably mimks the attitude of a lot of parents - "go see the world... no worries!"

Good movie! Disturbing scenes and storyline, but realistic nevertheless.
I always thought Liam was a cutie and evenmore so in this movie.
