Obviously you've never been through a family member's traumatic death. Be thankful for that.
I have experienced it. Twice now. It was horrendous, so much more so than with any other losses I've endured.
Both times I went from extremes of laughing and appearing OK to breaking down completely, especially when I talked about it. I was heavily doped after my brother's passing. I went from collapsing in the parking lot of Sunrise Mall and having to be carried home by DH to being able to compose myself and have a few laughs.
IT IS NORMAL.
I am absolutely disgusted that people are actually believing this garbage.
This did happen.
My husband's former coworkers buried two of those babies. His current bosses assisted in the funerals of at least two other victims.
As to the guns? There was the bushmaster used in the school and a rifle which was in the trunk. TWO DIFFERENT GUNS. There were FOUR guns total: two rifles, two handguns.
I am seething right now.

These conspiracy theorists are total nutjobs! They are harassing people and creating these ridiculous videos that use chopped up bits from unreliable news reports that weren't complete because the real facts hadn't yet been disclosed when those preliminary reports aired.

I actually saw the interview the showed of the two parents, their smiles make TOTAL sense with the audio that goes with it.
As for the bushmaster - true, they found a rifle in the trunk, and some googling explains how you can tell in the video of the trunk, by WHAT they are doing with it in the trunk.
As for the FB page, I "liked" it the day it was created, it was Dec 15th, it still says so to this day on the page. Not to mention, it shows 300K+ likes in the video when in fact it is only currently 160k+ on the actual FB page. Additionally, in the video, the date doesn't have the year, ALL "joined Facebook" notations on FB have the year.

That people think this is manufactured is amazing to me- the government screws up everything, and they're supposed to get this right?
I live 20 minutes from Newtown and had to drive through the other day. I just can't see how it's not real. That community is shattered.

The government does a lot of terrible things. The government has even attempted to exploit the shooting for political reasons, as we knew they would. But that doesn't count as evidence that they orchestrated it. Or staged it. Or whatever theory you're going with this week. But I will not sit here and attempt to refute your claims. That would be like trying to argue with a gerbil. I've got better things to do. Like pull out my own fingernails and take a bath in lemon juice. I'd rather do that than be subjected to one more email from some crackpot Facebook detective.
There are plenty of real things to be concerned about. You don't need to fabricate a reality. Reality itself is troublesome enough. And we need all hands on deck. We can't afford for you to be off in an imaginary land that oddly resembles some cheap made for TV movie.
Plus, people actually died. Kids died. And you're sitting there making a freaking comic book out of it. You disgust me. Seriously.

Honestly, I cannot believe any sane, normally intelligent human being would put so much faith into an OBVIOUSLY edited as propaganda youtube video. THAT is insane to me. It is a YOUTUBE video by some random guy. All it takes is a little common sense, a little common decency and 5 minutes of googling, if you need to, in order to be able to call BS. This pisses me off.

It's so wrong that people this is kind of stuff. Bu the only thing that bothers me is that there were numerous reports that the AR 15 was found in the truck of the car, so how was that used to kill everyone? And I also heard reports from CNN that there were 4 hand guns found in the scho not 2. Semiauto hand guns too. So I don't know what to think about that.

when my classmate died suddenly as a teen I remember his mother laughing and breathing heavy just before she had to speak about her son at the mass. the emotions and pain are bursting every way and everything comes out. it is raw. and that anderson Cooper interview if you saw the whole thing the mother was remembering the beauty and joy her daughter gave her. she was speaking about thier morning ritual of drawing hearts on the bathroom window within the moisture. The morning of the murders there was extra frost and the heart her daughter drew was very prominant and remained on the window even after she got the worst news any mother can get. This freeze frame-copy/paste video is horrid!
why i am even justifying this makes me angry with myself

They found a RIFLE in the trunk, NOT the bushmaster that was used. There are reports online how you can tell the difference in the video. Not the same guns.
As for the inaccuracies - that happens everytime, news agencies rush to report and the story is full of all sorts of inaccuracies until everyone gets everything straightened out. How often have you read a story and then someone else goes, "oh, I heard this.... or that"

Exactly. I remember that morning. At first the shooter was a parent. Then the shooter was Lanza's brother who came to shoot his mother's class. But then the mother was a kindergarten teacher who was killed at home and then he went to kill her class. Then it was really Adam Lanza and the mother wasn't affiliated with the school at all. There were also reports that there were multiple shooters.
To me, this is the real issue with the media... reporting on speculation before any facts come to light.

ITA- the amount of misinformation was mind-boggling. I was in the car just as the story was breaking and hardly anything about the initial story matches the real story. It seems like all these media outlets only care about topping each other and getting the story out first, so they report anything. And in doing so, they give these conspiracy nuts material to work with because they interpret it as gov't conspiracy instead of crappy reporting.

I just can't!! People who put out vidoes like this disgust me!! I have been seeing this all over facebook and have not been commenting on it because it was just upsetting me that so many people fall for this. 
Oh and if this was some big government cover up..Anonymous would be ALL over it!!

It only raises questions if you believe that the information being reported as the entire thing was unfolded was all 100% fact.
The media reported a lot of speculation and rumor throughout the day, that doesn't make it fact. When the dust settles, then the parts of the puzzle can be pieced together as the facts come to light.
