Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
Did you get pregnant or not with that one egg?

Re: Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
I responded on your other post already , but yes, we did transfer only one and here she is............
<---------------------------------------------
It really does take only one ..I was really bummed at my transfer when they advised me to transfer one ( we were supposed to put back 2) because they were afraid of me having effects from hyperstimulating.....I immediately assumed my chances were cut in half- but according to my doctor, putting in two instead of 1 only increases your chances by 2% ( they explained why, but honestly I can't rememember the specifics)...Needless to say, the one they put back was the "one" ...Good Luck and lots of !!!!

Re: Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
I transferred one, and it wasn't good quality but I did have a chemical, which means I did get pregnant. It really only does take just one.

Re: Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
Thats a great article. I've been thinking about doing a single FET but was nervous it would lower my odds. Now I'm pretty sure only one is going back in!!

Re: Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
I did a single embryo 5dt on my first IVF attempt because DH and I did not want to risk multiples. Long story short, our little girl is due any day now. Best of luck!!!!

Re: Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
My FET last May was with a single embryo. It resulted in a chemical, but so far it has been the closest I've been to pg out of 8 embryos I've had transfered.

Re: Did anyone transfer only one embryo in IVF?
This is all very interesting. I love hearing people's success stories.
The doctor said I had a 35-40% chance of getting preggers with this cycle of IVF. The embryologist put it at 40-45%. Are those the stats others have heard? I am 31 and did PGD. I was hoping more for 50-60%.

Well the RE had said at our consult that we were looking at 50-60% success rate (which can also be viewed as 50% chance it works 50% it doesnt )
At transfer, my embie was a hatching blast and the Dr. that did it said "she would be very shocked if this didn't take" (didnt give %) and the embryologist told me she "wanted a picture of the baby when he/she came " Needless to say, that made me feel REALLY good !
You're odds sound great !!!
