Did anyone travel, at 28 weeks or more, pregnant?
We have planned a trip to Florida. My doctor just let me know it will be a 50/50 chance that I will be able to travel at 28 weeks pregnant. She said she would definitely get insurance for my trip. I was wondering if anyone had a similiar experience and had to cancel a trip or did they find traveling that late in pregnancy to be fine?

28 weeks was when I took my last trip. I flew to St. Louis for a wedding. It was totally fine. I don't think I would have been allowed to fly much later than that though.

When I was 30 weeks PG I went to Florida by myself with my 2.5 yr old at the time to go to Disney. We walked around everyday all day in early August!  
ETA: yes, I flew! I didn't have any problems at all! I was also carrying a big baby!

I flew back from London around 28 weeks. I'm trying to squeak in another trip with this pregnancy - I feel pretty comfortable flying up to 32 weeks.

That makes me feel a little bit better! The Doctor made me very nervous about my trip! I thought it was after 32 weeks that the suggest not to travel, but if you are feeling up for it then that's terrific!
That's amazing that you went to Disney at 30 weeks with a 2.5, alone!! Very impressive. Where did you stay? Did your Dr. reccommend bringing your records with you?
I am glad to hear from you girls hopefully the trip will work out for us!! I really need a vacation!!

yes. I was 29 weeks with my last trip. Traveled at 26,27,28. I am a high risk patient and was told I could not travel after 26, however I took a test to see if I would go into labor within that month and all was fine.
With my first pregnancy, the last I traveled was 20 weeks.

That's right there is a test I could take to see if it's possible that I may go into labor within the next month. I will have to look into that!
I was so surprised when my Dr. said my chance was 50/50 for travelling at that time. I really thought she was going to say, it should be fine at 28 weeks..lol!

With my first pregnancy, i went to the Bahamas when I was 27-28 weeks pregnant. I loved it and I was fine.

I flew at 28 weeks from CA to NY and back which is a much longer flight than NY to FL. Unless you have some complications, it should be fine.
