We worked with a buyers agent, and we thought it was great. We liked that they didn't have any listings themselves and could be more honest with us about the houses with saw. We work with Celia at Home Buyers Resource Center. Main office is in Baldwin. They have quite a few agents that go all over the place. The woman who started the company Bethany also runs a mortgage broker company and we ended up using her also. Let me know if you need any more info! www.homebuyerscenter.com

Is it expensive to hire a Buyer's Agent?

Tammy Gorman with Prudential Doug Elliman is wonderful!

FM me for contact info. She can show you any of the houses on MLS -- and she would share in the broker's commission, so it wouldn't cost you out of pocket.

not necessarily. if there's a buyer broker commission listed then she can show it with nothing out of pocket to the buyer. if there's a 0 next to the line that says buyer broker commission then the buyer will have to pay.

In response to my recommendation above. We had to put a $300 deposit down with the buyers agent, but then we got it back at closing. We did not pay them any specific money. The sellers agent had to share what ever the commission was with them.
