Did anyone watch The Big Give yesterday?
I just came home and looked for a thread on this. What, no comments? No reviews?
Then let me be the first to say I was in TEARS at almost every give-away. When the mom and the 2 kids sent notes on balloons to their dad in heaven......

I did, I really enjoyed it. My fave was that story too. 
I do feel like they should have picked people who have a background in non profits and/or event planning so that they have a better chance of really enacting some change in only 5 days. Or they should provide a "mentor" of sorts to help them along the way.
I feel like some of these people will never really have a shot since they don't really know what's involved in these type of events and what type of community groups or organizations they should reach out to.

As corny as I thought it would be..it did make me want to "Give"...so I applaud the thought and effort behind it and hope it keeps it momentum!
