Did anyone's insurance cover the

renting or buying of a breast pump?

DH said his insurance may cover it, we're going to call tomorrow. Just wanted to know if anyone else's did.

DH's cousin's did, but they had a very difficult deliver and needed a hospital grade one since the baby couldn't nurse on its' own.

Hi Cindy!!!!! Search some old threads if you haven't yet. I thought I saw one where some people discussed this. I think that most of them said that it was difficult to get it covered, if their policies even allowed it at all. I'd bump a thread for you but I'm pretty useless tonight.

Mine covered the pump in style advanced - I got a "prescription" for poor latch at the hospital. (Note, basically everyone has a poor latch in the beginning!)
