Did anyone's stomach ever feel sore after a sono
I went for the ultascreen yesterday morning and my stomach has been very sore since yesterday afternoon. It feels like it is bruised but I dont see any marks.
The tech was a little rough because I even asked her if pressing so hard could harm the baby. But I didnt think it would feel this pain afterwards.
Just wondering if anyone else ever felt sore after a sono?

i felt a little sore after the ultra screen - probably cause the bean wasnt cooperating and they were at it for more than a half hour!!!!

Yep! My stomach is always sore after I go for the "big" sonos- like the ultrascreen and the level 2. I'm guessing its probably because they are longer. Plus, my baby never cooperates- so they are always digging with the probe on my belly.

Yes, after the ultrascreen... they pushed so hard to get the shots they needed...

Thanks everyone. I was beginning to get nervous thinking they did something wrong. I wish they would warn me of these things so I wouldnt stress over it when it happens.

Yes very much so. THe tech wasn't getting clear images and had to poke and jiggle me a lot. I was sore for a few days - nothing you could see outside but I could sure feel it!

Yes, after the ultrascreen I remember feeling achy in my stomach because she was pressing down so hard. I guess they have to do that to get the good shots they need.

Me too, I was there for two hours with then scanning over scar tissue from an existing surgery, the soreness was ridiculous. The tech even felt bad.

i was definitely sore. my tummy area is pretty tender as it is, and the ultrasound wand definitely didn't help. it should go away in a couple days

Yes, I had a long scan yesterday and waddled like a duck out the office when the tech was done. The baby was burrowing down and the tech was trying to coax her back up. I leave for an OB appt in a few minutes and I am scared for him to touch me.
